Board of Directors Punjab Industrial Estates and Development Company (PIEDMC) has constituted the Board of Management (BoM) for Sundar Industrial Estate (SIE), Raiwind Road Lahore consisting of renowned industrialists of the country.
The constitution of Sundar Industrial Estate's Board of Management is in pursuance of Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif's vision of having an organised system of management for the Estate which he expressed in a visit to Sundar Industrial Estate Lahore.
The senior management in the Board of Management of Sundar Industrial Estate consists of Ahsan Mahmood Butt, M/s FAS Tube Mills & Engineering Industries as the President, Muhammad Irfan Qadri, M/s Qadcast (Pvt) Ltd as the Senior Vice President and Ahmad Rafi, M/s Arco Plastics (Pvt) Ltd as the Vice President. Other member of the Board of Management include Ahsan K Gulzar, M/s Forte Pakistan Engineering Co Ltd, Haroon Ali Khan, M/s CHT Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, Mian Faheem Qamar, M/s Pioneer Board Products (Pvt) Ltd, Tayyab Aijaz, M/s Roshan Packages (Pvt) Ltd, Muhammad Asif Ali, M/s Tipoo Enterprises, Haroon Arshad, M/s Ravi Autos (Pvt) Ltd, Manzoor Khan, M/s SVA Ruba Plastic Injection Molding Co (Pvt) Ltd and Rashid Qaseem, M/s Engi Plastic Industries (Pvt) Ltd.
The aim of constituting BoM is to create enabling environment where industrialists can manage their affairs. This will enable PIEDMC to concentrate on macro management. This is a great step taken by PIEDMC that aims to establish the trust of industrialists in its services by partnering with them in the growth and development of the industrial sector of Punjab. Today PIEDMC is the premier infrastructure development agency in Punjab.
It may be noted that the Punjab Industrial Estates and Development Company was established in 2003 as a public-private partnership with an aim to develop a chain of industrial estates in a dynamic and innovative manner. The objective of PIEDMC is to bring less developed areas of Punjab into main stream, create jobs, alleviate poverty, provide sustainable GDP growth as well as capitalising on proposed and existing industrial and agricultural strengths of Punjab and overall Pakistan.-PR
