1. Mr. S. M. Tanveer is an eminent businessman and a philanthropist of national stature. He is known for his business acumen, humility and tremendous zeal in the business community. He is director of Din Group of Industries comprising Din Textile Mills Limited, Din Leather Limited and Din Power Limited. Founded in 1987, Din Textile Mills Ltd. made its mark within a very short span of time. The annual exports of the group are Approx. US Dollars45 Million. The Group is also dealing in raw skins, chemicals and power generation.
2. Mr. Tanveer was appointed Chairman of Punjab Industrial Estates (PIE) Development and Management Company on 1st October 2009. PIE is an important initiative of the Government of Punjab with an object of Public-Private partnership to achieve orderly, planned and balanced industrialization in the province. S. M. Tanveer has a versatile personality. Despite looking after the activities of Din Group, he finds time to serve the national cause on an honorary basis.
3. Mr. Tanveer has remained Senior Vice Chairman of APTMA, Punjab Zone. He has contributed a great deal in Industrial policy formulation at the national level. He has traveled abroad extensively for the promotion of exports and general study of world textile industry.
4. Mr. S. M. Tanveer is patronizing many social welfare projects in the education and health sectors.
